Bought two pairs of these and returned both cuz they each had cheap glue work at the seams, so that these all-black shoes had white/grey marks where there shouldn't have been. Not sure if these are knock-offs or if addidas quality is taking a dive...

My son has been wearing this style sneaker for about 3 years and we went to every shoe store in our area and were told that Adidas was not making this sneaker any more. But when I checked on Amazon there it was. They were shipped very fast and my son loves his new sneakers!

Wow is the only word I've got to use, these basketball shoes are super comfortable, fitted perfectly, cheap and a must buy for people looking for good shoes to wear.

This shoe is like your foot surrounded by a cloud. Its honestly, THAT comfy! I used to play in nike shoes but my friend said adidas are more comfy,tight, and they look much better. And since I like tighter shoes. I bought these. And not like the bad tight. Where there's very little extra room. But that also depends on what size. I was a 9.5 but i bought a ten, so I guess you could get a halfsize up. But do not go down on the scale. These shoes really help your ankles also. I've broke my right ankle and sprained my left so I know; these adidas also give you cleaner cutes and helps you get that drive to the basket. And im surprised that just when i got these shoes, my range improved. So did my jumping.

Bought them for about $60ish at Foot Locker a year ago and I LOVED them. A tad heavy but not too much to cause any negative impact to your game.

I especially love the great cushioning the shoe provides for the ankle and below it. After a year of wear and tear, it is sad to see my grey and blue addidas go to the trash, but I'll soon order another pair here in the black on black color asap!

Nike Hyperdunk 2010 TB Basketball Shoes. Playing-wise, the 2010 Hyperdunks are excellent. Quality-wise however, they are poor. A week after I got them, the Nike insignia began wearing off. Then the paint started to smudge, leaving streaks down the outsides of the shoes. After four months, the plastic is peeling at the seams, and the soles have begun to detach.

The 2010 Hyperdunks are initially very good shoes. They're comfortable and lightweight, making them easy to move in. They fit tight around the ankle, which makes them difficult to get on and off, but as a result they provide very good support. The grip is only mediocre, but as long as you don't wear them outside (or only wear them outside) it shouldn't be much of a problem.

For 100 dollars, the 2010 Hyperdunks should be considerably more durable. They're good for occasional use, but if you play basketball a lot you should look for something else.

Nike The Overplay VI Men's Basketball Shoe

One of the few non-custom Nikes you can buy in wide widths, I wasn't sure what to expect from this shoe. I was looking for a stiff-soled shoe (because I suffer from turf toe) into which I could put a stiff orthotic insole. Since I also bought a half-size up, fitting the insole was not a problem. There is plenty of room in the toe box and the sole is already relatively stiff compared to other BB shoes.

One issue I have with the shoe is the heels. They have radiused corners, not a problem in itself, but the outsole is soft blown rubber which makes the foot susceptible to rolling. I solved this issue by wearing ankle support, but would not feel comfortable without this extra support.
The shoe could use more ventilation, there are some tiny holes to allow the artificial leather to breathe, but not nearly enough. But for a half to a third the price of top of the line Nikes, I give these shoes a 4 for overall value.
I am generally a New Balance fan, but their line of BB shoes is limited, clunky, and not comfortable, even the wide ones.

These sneakers look fine but as regards fit, they are a little tight. Narrow. The pair I got came with 60" laces which I could barely tie into a single knot. Woefully inadequate for a shoe with this many eyelets. I like my laces loose so my foot doesn't chafe when in play. I replaced them with 72" laces which work fine but I could only get that length in boot-style laces. I searched Amazon for sport-style in that length and found none. So beware.
